Hi there Ram owners. Today, on your 2013 Ram 1500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Blue Ox's 2-Point weight distribution system. And this is what our weight distribution system looks like when it's installed. These components will go between a head that attaches into the receiver on your hitch. And the bars will extend down the brackets that are clamped under the frame of the trailer. These bars here will redistribute the weight that's pushing down on the back of our trailer and help to redistribute that onto the front axle of our vehicle here. more

Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Installation - 2014 Ram 2500- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Ram 2500. We're going to be installing the Fastway E2 weight distribution system. Part number FA94-00-1033. To assist with this installation, we're also going to be using the equalizer weight distribution shank, part number EQ90-02-4900 and a two and 5/16 inch hitch ball for the equalizer weight distribution system part number EQ91-00-6120.So as you can see before when making turns, the trailer didn't want to follow closely behind the vehicle. Causing some angle that you really had to look out for in your mirror. And now it more closely follows behind me, making it a smoother, easier turn.So as you can see here while driving along, turning and going over bumps. more

Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System Installation - 2013 Ram 1500- Video

Today on this 2013 Ram 1500 crew cab, were going to show you part number RP66074. This is a straight line weight distribution system with sway control from Reese. Now the weight distribution is designed for a 12,000 pound trailer and with a ton of weight of 1,200 pounds. First, well go ahead and cover our components that you get with this part number. You get the head assembly here, the spring arms, the fall spring arms down, down to the tool cam sway control located right here. Where you also get the hanger here, and the chains, and you also get the snap on brackets. All right, well go ahead and take a look at the spring arm here. This is whats called the trunnell style, it has a square arm that goes into a socket here. more
